Full Stack Engineer [Mid/Senior]

We’re looking for an experienced [Mid/Senior] Full Stack Engineer (MERN) to architect and build scalable applications with AI-powered features while leading technical initiatives across our engineering organization.

As a Full Stack Engineer at HuSig, you’ll work on complex systems including event management platforms, AI-powered lead generation tools, and data analytics ecosystems. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, mentoring, and strategic decision-making for optimal cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development & AI Integration (50%)

  • Architect and develop scalable web applications using React.js and Node.js
  • Build robust backend APIs with NestJS framework and MongoDB integration
  • Implement AI-powered features including intelligent recommendations and automated content generation
  • Design and optimize database schemas and queries for performance at scale
  • Integrate with third-party APIs including payment processors, AI models, and analytics services
  • Develop real-time features using WebSockets and event-driven architectures
  • Ensure application security, performance, and scalability best practices

AWS Cloud Architecture & DevOps (30%)

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies
  • Monitor application performance and optimize costs through strategic AWS service selection
  • Implement security best practices including IAM, encryption, and network security
  • Design fault-tolerant systems with proper backup and disaster recovery strategies
  • Optimize infrastructure costs while maintaining performance and reliability
  • Collaborate on microservices architecture and container orchestration strategies

Technical Leadership & Mentoring (20%)

  • Lead technical design discussions and architectural decision-making
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in best practices and career development
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and establish coding standards
  • Drive technical initiatives to improve development processes and team productivity
  • Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Research and evaluate new technologies for potential adoption
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives

Required Qualifications

Experience & Expertise

  • 3-5 years of professional full-stack development experience
  • Strong proficiency in React.js ecosystem (hooks, context, state management)
  • Extensive Node.js and NestJS framework experience
  • Deep understanding of MongoDB design patterns, indexing, and optimization
  • Hands-on experience with core AWS services and cloud architecture principles
  • Experience with RESTful API design and microservices patterns

Technical Skills

  • Frontend: React.js, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, modern build tools (Webpack, Vite)
  • Backend: Node.js, NestJS, Express.js, API development, authentication systems
  • Database: MongoDB, query optimization, schema design, data modeling
  • Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch), infrastructure as code
  • DevOps: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and logging systems
  • Version Control: Git workflows, code review processes

Analytical & Leadership Skills

  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to optimize for performance and cost
  • Deep understanding of AWS pricing models and cost optimization strategies
  • Experience in technical decision-making and solution architecture
  • Proven ability to mentor team members and lead technical initiatives
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and debugging capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/ML model integration and prompt engineering
  • Knowledge of additional AWS services (ECS, EKS, API Gateway, CloudFront)
  • DevOps experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Experience with payment processing systems and financial applications
  • Contributions to open-source projects or technical blog writing
